Copy Trading, MAM & PAMM

Follow top traders automatically, or manage multiple accounts with MAM and PAMM. Learn how each option works.

Copy trading

Pick a trader you like and mirror their positions automatically in your own account — you stay in control.

Copy Trading

Copy trading links your account to a strategy provider you choose. Every position they open, modify or close is mirrored in your own account automatically and in real time, scaled to the allocation you set. Your money never leaves your account.

Copy Trading — How it works

1Browse strategy providers and compare their track record, drawdown and trading style.
2Choose an amount to allocate and your copy settings (proportional size, fixed multiplier, or a cap).
3Their trades are mirrored in your account the moment they are placed.
4Monitor results live, adjust your allocation, or stop copying at any time — open trades can be closed manually.

Copy Trading — Who it's for

Beginners who want exposure to the markets while they learn
Busy traders without time to watch charts
Experienced traders diversifying across strategies

Copy Trading — You stay in control

Funds stay in your own account
Set your own allocation and risk limits
Pause, adjust or stop copying anytime

Copy Trading — Example

You allocate $1,000 to a provider trading a $10,000 account. When they open 1.00 lot, your account opens 0.10 lots — the same trade at one-tenth of the size.

Copy Trading — Keep in mind

Losses are copied as well as profits
Very small allocations can round down to the minimum lot size
Execution timing can differ very slightly from the provider's
For professional money managers

MAM (Multi-Account Manager)

MAM lets one manager trade a single master account while every order is distributed across the individual accounts linked to it. Each client keeps a separate account in their own name, and the manager decides how each order is split.

MAM (Multi-Account Manager) — How it works

1Clients open their own FHX accounts and link them to the manager's MAM.
2The manager places trades from one master terminal.
3Each order is split across the linked accounts by the chosen allocation method — by lot, by percentage or by equity.
4Each client sees every trade in their own account; profits, losses and fees are booked there directly.

MAM (Multi-Account Manager) — Who it's for

Professional traders and money managers
Managers running several client accounts at once
Clients who want a professional to trade their account while keeping it in their own name

MAM (Multi-Account Manager) — You stay in control

Each client keeps their own account and funds
Clients can disconnect from the manager
Per-account lot sizing (e.g. × 0.5, × 1.0, × 2.0)

MAM (Multi-Account Manager) — Example

A manager opens 1.00 lot on EURUSD. Account A (× 1.0) receives 1.00 lot, Account B (× 0.5) receives 0.50 lots and Account C (× 2.0) receives 2.00 lots.

MAM (Multi-Account Manager) — Keep in mind

The manager's decisions apply to every linked account
Agree performance and management fees in writing before linking
Different account sizes can produce different results
For investors who want hands-off exposure

PAMM (Percentage Allocation Management Module)

PAMM pools money from several investors into one account run by a fund manager. The manager trades the pool as a whole, and profits and losses are shared automatically in proportion to each investor's share of the pool.

PAMM (Percentage Allocation Management Module) — How it works

1Investors choose a PAMM manager and invest an amount into the pool.
2Each investor's share is calculated as a percentage of the total pool.
3The manager trades the combined pool as one account.
4Results are allocated automatically by share; any agreed performance fee is applied at each settlement period.

PAMM (Percentage Allocation Management Module) — Who it's for

Investors who want a fully hands-free approach
Smaller accounts that benefit from being part of a larger pool
Managers who prefer to trade one account instead of many

PAMM (Percentage Allocation Management Module) — You stay in control

See your share and results at any time
Add funds or request a withdrawal under the PAMM's terms
Choose the manager whose strategy and record suit you

PAMM (Percentage Allocation Management Module) — Example

A $100,000 pool: Investor A has $50,000 (50%), Investor B $30,000 (30%) and Investor C $20,000 (20%). If the pool makes $5,000, A receives $2,500, B $1,500 and C $1,000, before any performance fee.

PAMM (Percentage Allocation Management Module) — Keep in mind

Losses are shared in the same proportion as profits
Withdrawals may follow the PAMM's settlement schedule
Check the manager's fee structure and track record first

Copying or allocating to another trader does not remove risk. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results, and losses are mirrored just like profits. Only invest what you can afford to lose.
